365 challenge

After seeing many people on Flickr decide to do the 'take one shot every day' thing, and reflecting on the fact that I don't get as much use out of my camera gear as I would like, I decided to participate in a 365.

I was originally going to just do the generic 365, that is to take a photo of anything that interests me, and picking the best for the day. However when I saw the Stormtroopers 365 work I was very tempted to do a themed challenge of my own. I thought about defining the theme by a shooting style, but that would quickly bore me. Liking the idea of two small figurines from the stormtroopers set, that could easily be taken everywhere I go, I got to thinking about what figures I would need.

I though about all the movie heroes, but this limits their scope, and wanted something more generic. Today I found that these generic little figures were right in front of my face.

My challenge begins tomorrow on the first, and the last image should be hopefully taken on 31st Dec, 2010. I could go super strict on the rules, by requiring that the photos are taken absolutely on that day, but I know I won't stick to this exactly, so I am allowing myself some room for catchups.

The rules I will follow are:
1. By 31/12/10 there will be 365 photos in the set
2. If possible, a photo should be taken every day.
3. One or both of the figures must be present in the image
4. What I upload can be any format, be it photo, video, drawing, cad model, poem, song, essay, whatever. It will be almost all photos I believe.

For now, the photos will just be placed in a Flickr set, but I will be setting up a page on this site when I get around to it.

Please make comments, if I think noone cares I am far more likely to give up.
